Aiken Council # 3684 Knights of Columbus
Why Join the 4th Degree?
Patriotism and pride in one's nation are the driving forces behind the more than 250,000 Fourth Degree Members across over 2,200 Fourth Degree Assemblies. The Fourth Degree represents the highest and most distinguished degree within the Knights of Columbus, comprising a group of exceptional Sir Knights dedicated to serving their Church, country, and our Order. These men stand united in the Fourth Degree, where duty transcends personal life, the way we lead our families, and how we serve our fellow man.
Honoring the Legacy of Knighthood:
The Honor Guard, a select division of the Fourth Degree, is recognized by its distinctive presence in parades, wreath-laying ceremonies, flag retirements, wakes/funerals, and Catholic events, serving as a tangible symbol of our commitment to the community. Members of the Honor Guard don their regalia with pride and dignity, embodying the finest qualities of the Knights of Columbus. The call for strong role models is more pressing than ever. To ensure the preservation of the sanctity of life, family values, and genuine religious freedom, democratic societies require a deeper dedication from the faithful. This is the essence of the Fourth Degree, which stands as the apex of Knighthood, living, serving, and safeguarding the truth.
It’s an Honor:
We cordially invite every Third-Degree Member of our Order to consider ascending to the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. The Fourth Degree is fundamentally patriotic, with ceremonials designed to reflect our devotion to country and church. Thus, the primary aim of the Fourth Degree is to promote active Catholic citizenship and nurture a spirit of patriotism among its members and the broader community.
The Time is Now!
If you are a Third Degree Knight in good standing, now is the moment to deepen your faith journey. Consider the Fourth Degree.
