Do you have an American flag that has become old, torn, or weathered?
Is it no longer a fitting emblem of our nation? The United States Flag Code states, "The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should1 be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning."

Respectful Flag Retirement Program

The Aiken Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly #1074 is stepping up to ensure the respectful retirement of American flags. Whether damaged by a storm or simply worn by time, we can help you properly lay your flag to rest.
Drop-Off Location:

A secure and dedicated drop-off box is available at the Aiken Columbus Club. Community members are encouraged to bring their flags to this location for proper retirement.
