Do you have an American flag that has become old, torn, or weathered?

Is it no longer a fitting emblem of our nation? The United States Flag Code states, "The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should1 be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning." 

 

The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly #1074 is honored to provide a solution for our community, ensuring every American flag is retired with the respect and dignity it deserves

Respectful Flag Retirement Program
  • The Aiken Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly #1074 is stepping up to ensure the respectful retirement of American flags. Whether damaged by a storm or simply worn by time, we can help you properly lay your flag to rest.

Drop-Off Location:
  • A secure and dedicated drop-off box is available at the Aiken Columbus Club. Community members are encouraged to bring their flags to this location for proper retirement.

Convenient Pick-Up Service:
  • For those unable to visit the drop-off location, the Assembly offers a convenient pick-up service. Simply schedule an appointment, and a member of our Assembly will come to you.
